I was born in the late 60s in a small town in Wyoming. My parents are common working class citizens. My oldest brother was the first in my family to get college degree. I tried (jr.) college, but dropped out. I did successfully graduate from trade school.

My first job was at McDonald\'s back in the 80s. Since then, most jobs I\'ve held have been in one restaurant or another. I\'ve been a dishwasher, a waitress, a cook and I worked briefly cleaning homes for a maid service. My trade school certificate did land me a job back in the 90s at a t.v. station. I started out as a camera operator. Four years later after having moved up to technical director, I quit because the station kept getting sold, the management kept getting worse, and the pay was going nowhere.($7/hr.)

I now work as a retail clerk. When I started that over 5 years ago, it was a great job with good pay and seemingly good management. But now, with every passing day, every new rule, every cut-back on hours, every new responsibility, every paper I must sign and every shrinking paycheck, I realize that I must become more than my job, more than a couch potato, more than a good consumer. I have to become an active participant in saving my freedom... to at least try to change the things I hate about corporate america and my government. So begins my foray into peaceful activism...
