Mandisi Majavu

Mandisi Majavu is the Book Reviews Editor of Interface: a journal for and about social movements

Majavu has written widely on topics relating to human rights, justice, gender, race and basically African politics.  His work has appeared in international publications such as Inter Press Services news Agency and Panos News Agency. Also, he has been published in South African media outlets such as the Mail & Guardian, the Cape Times and Chimurenga.

He contributed a chapter to the book ‘Real Utopia’ – the book is edited by Chris Spannos. His work has also appeared in a book entitled “Beyond Borders: Thinking Critically About Global Issues”. The book is a collection of essays from writers around the world; it is edited by Paula S. Rothenberg and is published by Worth Publishers.   

Majavu’s hobbies include playing basketball, reading espionage literature, thriller novels and playing the game of Go.
