Marjorie Cohn is a past President of the National Lawyers Guild and a professor at Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California. A prominent scholar and lecturer, Professor Cohn is author of Cowboy Republic: Six Ways the Bush Gang Has Defied the Law and co-author of Cameras in the Courtroom:
Television and the Pursuit of Justice. She is the U.S. representative to the executive committee of the American Association of Jurists and was editor of Guild Practitioner for several years. Professor Cohn is a criminal defense attorney and she publishes extensively in the academic and popular press about criminal justice, U.S. foreign policy and human rights.
