Holly Sklar is a widely published op-ed columnist and author. Her op-eds for the Knight Ridder/Tribune News Service have appeared in hundreds of newspapers and online outlets. Sklar is coauthor of "Raise The Floor: Wages and Policies That Work For All Of Us," which Barbara Ehrenreich calls, "A commanding work and powerful tool for the living wage movement" (www.raisethefloor.org). Sklar`s other books include "Chaos or Community? Seeking Solutions, Not Scapegoats for Bad Economics," hailed as "a tour-de-force of accessible economics and social analysis," and "Streets of Hope: The Fall and Rise of an Urban Neighborhood," the widely taught story of how the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative is rebuilding a long impoverished Boston community as a dynamic urban village. Sklar`s first book, "Trilateralism: The Trilateral Commission and Elite Planning for World Management," foretold the global corporate economy before "globalization" was a buzzword.
