Catherine Redfern is founder of The F Word (www.thefword.org.uk) which has provided UK-based feminist commentary, debate and news for almost 10 years. She is co-author, with Kristin Aune, of 'Reclaiming The F Word: The New Feminist Movement' (Zed Books, 2010). She lives and works in London.

Author of 'Ireland's Hidden Diaspora: The Abortion Trail and the Making of a London-Irish Underground 1980-2000' (IASC, 2009), Ann has been touring with this monologue in an attempt to bring about a different kind of conversation on abortion in Ireland.
