I'm from London, UK.
In my academic life, I'm a scientist interested in cognitive neuroscience, I find it exhilarating and extremely challenging.
Apart from that, I seem to spend a lot of my time reading, trying desperately to understand the political, social, and economic forces shaping life in my country and others. I've been lucky enough to travel a lot to different parts of the world, and that instilled in me a love of discussing different ideas. It also taught me pity, courage, and a sense of responsibility. I realised that the country I call home holds great sway over so many, whether they want it or not, and causes horrific suffering in far away places, as well as right here at home. I feel drawn to being part of organised efforts looking to change these things for the better.
