When McCain says in the debates:
"I’ve seen death, more death than you, I know the value of life…."
I would say:
"How much death have you really seen? How much death can you see dropping bombs on human beings from thousands of feet in the air? How much death did you see when you supported policies that lead to the ‘living’ death of thousands of Americans who, by your own admission, you are not connected with?"
As a veteran, who served ‘on the ground’ in the Iraq war…I take offense at Senator McCain’s oft repeated notion that he’s seen death….as far as history is concerned…as far as his record is concerned, he’s as familiar with the human cost of his actions and policy positions as he is with the economy.
